Festive Scene in a Glass Jar
So not exactly a Ship in a bottle but a similar idea. You will create your very own festive scene beautiful Father Christmas and lots of presents or a winter Wonderland with snow fir trees and lights. There will be a sample bottle already completed in the festive vibe and your artisan teacher will help inspire you we’ve lots of great ideas for your very own festive glass jar. There will be lots of great bits and pieces that you can use from cotton wool to fabric to artificial berries and flowers and lots of other great items that will make your festive jar shine.

Bling, Bling and sparkle yes, we are going to make a table decoration with a difference with just a box!!!
Not possible you say well come and join us and see what wonders you can make with lots of upcycled items to create your very own unique Christmas table piece. At the studio in Edenbridge we love to use up as many items for crafting as possible so nothing goes to waste, but you will be amazed how fabulous it will look.

New to junk journaling or maybe you have already started this fun creative and expressive way of journaling. Either way we would love you to join us for” its Christmas” Mini Junk Journaling workshop. You can make an elaborate cover and or pages for your junk journal, there will be lots of papers cards stickers and ephemera to make your selection from. There will of course be scissors Glue and even washi tape along with pens ink pads and stamps etc.

We will show sample ideas to get the ideas flowing or if you need help and guidance, or you may be ready to hit the ground running with lots of ideas of your own.

At the Carry on Crafting summer festival this was one of our most popular workshops, so please book your space early so as not to be disappointed.

Come and relax and unwind at the end of the day with some creative hand stitching, make something special for friends and family. You can stitch a bookmark as a gift on some hessian or Linen you could even do a Napkin or similar it is your choice. There will be lots of amazing threads for you to use from embroidery silks and perle threads and our own textile art hanks.

We are happy to welcome all levels of hand stitchers from beginners to those more experienced in the art of creative needlework. Once again there will be sample ideas to look at.

Hand Stitching QUILTATHON
We will also be running all day a corner for stitching a 10 x 10 square for our charity QUILTATHON project that is to raise money for Macmillan and St Catherines Hospice.
The idea is to complete as many squares as possible in a Seasonal Theme Spring Summer Autumn or Winter. They can be created in traditional quilting method, applique, free style etc.
We would very much appreciate your support to help us make our target of at least one Queen Quilt. Any extra squares will not go to waste, but we will make other items such as lap quilts or cushions all the above will be auctioned or raffled.

In this 90 minute workshop, I will show you all the bargello embroidery techniques required to make a bargello embroidered tealight holder. The fun, retro style of this tealight holder means that you can continue to use it after Christmas!

The kit provided in the workshop is packaged in a gift box (see photo) and provides enough materials to enable you to make a total of two tealight holders in the same design. You will also receive an instruction booklet with colour photos and charts.

In the workshop, you should have sufficient time to complete at least one tealight holder (depending on embroidery experience).

Your glass will be boxed up & taken back to Bernie’s kiln to fire, in her workshop in Worthing. Once fired your glass will be posted (Royal Mail) or (Hand delivered if in the Worthing area ) directly to you to hang (up to 2 weeks). Ribbon not included. Delivery is included in the price!

Your kit includes everything you need to make your glass decorations. Please note you will not learn how to cut glass . Wrap up warm, bring a blanket or hot water bottle!

Come and join us as we return to Carry on Christmas for our second year and get creative as we dive together into the amazing world of peg doll painting!
Our sessions will provide you with everything needed to create two peg dolls. The choice of design is completely up to you from Santa to elf, snowman to angel, or even a hedgehog or alien! I will teach you all of the tricks I have learnt to create both simple classic designs and more intricate detailed pegs making the class perfect for all painting abilities. You even have the choice whether to create keyrings or hanging decorations.
Your kit will include two pegs (one ‘male’ and one ‘female’ shaped), two keyring hardware, two decoration strings, varnish to finish your design at home once dry. You will have access to a huge arrange of paints, brushes, posca pens, detailing tools, design inspiration and my experience!

I am so excited that after being asked and asked to run workshops I am!!!
This is an opportunity to make 3 hanging Christmas decorations made with natural products.

I will be showing/helping you make 3 hanging wood slice decorations which you can decorate with genuine seaglass, shells, pebble robins and pebble penguins as well as glitter and paint. I will bring along some examples of designs I have made as well as large tubs of seaglass, a lovely variety of shells and the pre-painted robins/penguins. I can then help you design your own decorations and help you find the suitable pieces of beachcombed finds for your decorations.  The glitter and paint is there if you’d like to use it plus a variety of strings for hanging them from.

The class will be creating 6 Christmas cards using using the blending technique with inks and the stencil and stamp in the kit. The washi tape will hold the stencil in place while blending the ink through the stencil and then once happy peel the stencil away and stamp the image.

The kit will include 6 card and envelopes, washi tape, white card, a stencil and a stamp for you to take away and create more at home. Lots of fun with inks and creativity.
