We are back for our 6th year!
10th and 11th July 2027 at the South of England ShowgroundOur birthday was a huge success and we are so grateful to everyone who came! We are now onto plans for 2027. We are pleased to announce we are staying at the South of England Showground, which is set in 150 acres in Ardingly, West Sussex.
We thought we couldn’t top this year, but we are already booking even more traders and classes for you to enjoy! So expect more variety of crafts, more classes, more demos, more raw materials to buy, a fabulous craft market, great food, vintage shopping and of course you don’t have to leave as you can camp, and as is the norm now you get to stay for THREE nights! (9th, 10th and 11th)
The festival is open to the public for day tickets:
Saturday 9:30am to 5:00pm
Sunday 10:00 am to 4:30 pm
Don’t forget we are dog friendly so you can bring your furry four legged friend with you as long as they remain on a lead. Please make sure you check the weather before you come as it is often too hot for dogs.
The Carry on Crafting Festival will include:
- Craft demonstrations
- Craft classes for you to book
- Craft supplies to buy
- Makers with beautiful finished items for sale
- Artisan market with local produce and food related classes
- Eco stalls
- Pet based stalls
- Vintage market
- Relaxation and massage (new for 2027)
- Classic cars
- Fabulous street food where we aim to cater for everyone
- Live entertainment (during the day and into the evening for campers)
Why not make it a weekend to remember and camp on site? All our camping pitches are the same size 6m x 10m and we don’t care what you sleep in! So bring your tent, caravan or motorhome and let the fun continue into the evening making new crafty friends. There’s also the option to hire a Bell Tent (available to book directly with the supplier The Happy Glamper) but you will still need to purchase a camping pitch separately as well, please note bell tents can only be booked on certain pitches.
If you have a Vintage set up whether it’s a vintage/classic caravan, campervan or motorhome you can book to be in the Vintage Field. Or maybe you have a show/quirly set up that you’d be happy to look around? Then the Vintage Field is for you. You become part of the festival as people will love to have a look around so you get a discounted rate. Please note if you book in this area and do NOT fit the criteria you will be asked to leave, so please book carefully!
